Dog friendly stays in Northumberland

Northumberland is fast becoming one of the most popular staycation locations in the country.

What’s more it’s dog friendly approach to life makes it the perfect trip.

At Little Hideaways, all our cottages are dog friendly, that’s because we know your dog is part of the family and let’s face it, it’s cheaper and a lot more fun than kennels!

Here’s our top things that make Northumberland so dog friendly:

Miles and miles of beaches!

All beaches in the AONB on the Northumberland Coast are dog friendly, there is the odd seasonal restriction, such as at Beanell Bay that tends to be more dune based due to shore nesting birds. Access to the beach is still allowed as long as dogs are kept under control on the beach and also on a lead through the dunes.
